Many young creatives can’t afford to attend university or portfolio schools and often struggle to find their place in the industry. To create a more inclusive future for the industry, D&AD came to us to brand the introduction of their New Blood Shift program: a free night school that offers raw, untrained talent, aged 18-26 a chance to break into the industry and launch a creative career. The challenge was to retain the equity of D&AD’s iconic identity while creating a distinctive branding system that could showcase the work of these aspiring creatives and encourage more to participate.
