Many young creatives can’t afford to attend university or portfolio schools and often struggle to find a place in the industry. To combat this problem, D&AD came to us to brand the introduction of their New Blood Shift program, a free night school that offers raw, untrained talent, aged 18-26 a chance to break into the industry and start a creative career. The challenge was to retain the equity of D&AD’s iconic identity while creating a distinctive branding system that could showcase the work of these aspiring creatives and encourage more to participate.
