Complementary Colors captures the collision of identity and culture through its thought-provoking and moving content. The company was founded by Jonah Disend, who started his career in the theater as a director/producer before taking an 18-year detour at the helm of Redscout, where he worked to redefine the future of media, technology and pop-culture brands.
The team was tasked with bringing together both these worlds, through an iconic identity that distills the brand premise while serving as a platform for a broad, expressive collection of studio projects. The result – a dynamic system of colliding ‘C’ shapes – was as colorful a solution as the name suggests.
